Our one-room school house currently features head teacher Mrs. Soquel Snider and assistant teacher Ms. Maddie Young.
Mrs. Snider: "My name is Soquel Snider. I have been teaching for nine years. I graduated from San Jose State University in California in 2003. I began teaching in 2006 in California. I taught 3rd through 5th grade for five years at Anderson Elementary in San Jose, California. I have been coming to Cooke City since 2003, but did not take the teaching position until 2011. It was a huge change going from a large school environment to a one room school house. I love the special relationship I have with the students at this school. I also appreciate how much the community is a big part of my students' education."

Ms. Maddie: "My name is Maddie Young. I am originally from Austin, TX. I graduated from Texas State University in 2010 with degrees in Psychology and Family and Child Development. I started coming to the Cooke City/Silver Gate area when I was 12 and have been coming back ever since. I started teaching at the Cooke City School in 2013 and immediately fell in love with working in such a unique environment and with such impressive kids."
